Departure of Minors to a Third Country

At the time of checking-in the handling agent will request the documentation required to flights to third countries (valid passport and visa for entry to countries that require it).

The police of the border could review the child custody and permission to travel, refusing even the departure from the territory, because of which the handling agent will recommend:

- Carry family book or document certifying the child’s custody.

- Approval of the parent who is not traveling with the child along with photocopy of ID. If neither of the two are travelling, in any case it is recommended to carry authorization of having custody of the child. Any format of authorization is valid provided that it is signed and accompanied by a photocopy of the ID of the guardian/parent.

The company is exempt from liability if at the border the departure is denied for not carrying the necessary documentation.

When concerned with connecting flights of minors, the handling agent will inform the client at origin of the possibility that in the border of the next destination the departure may be denied if the necessary documentation is not presented, and that the company is exempt of any responsibility (the passenger would have to return to the origin by his own means).
